Warren Christopher Bam
Warren Bam started his farming career in 2004 at Lushof Farm, near Ceres, where his late father, Herman, was also employed. He had an interest in agriculture, but could not study it due to the apartheid system he had grown up in.
Growing up in the town of Saron in the Western Cape, surrounded by farms, Warren Bam always intended on joining Mzansi’s Agri-industry.
Today he is an award-winning organic grape farmer in the Western Cape, with 40 hectares of organic table grapes (100% owned by him) that he grows for the international market. Warren is seen as a role model in the farming community. He provides support and advice to fellow farmers, and also introduces his peers to the new cultivars available and the importance of renewal and cultivar selection.
