Valerie Kruger

Valerie Kruger has vast knowledge of the community and has been working with them in identifying their service delivery needs.

She took the lead in planning much needed outreaches, by establishing teams and availing consumables and resources. 
She took the initiative, by obtaining churches, mosques, community centres, people’s homes and even fields for testing and vaccination sites. She helped with home deliveries of patients before it was initiated by the department. She was responsible for scheduling staff for outreaches. Valerie also coordinated the arrangement of the wellness bus that would take services to the community. She was the facility liaison person for LEAP to ensure safety and security of staff and service users also assisted with the rollout of staff vaccinations.

Valerie exudes the core values of the Western Cape Government when executing her daily functions.
