The SMME Booster Fund 2022 provides financial support to organisations implementing projects and programmes aimed at developing SMMEs in the Western Cape.
The innovation of the Fund is focused on a demand side approach whereby the Department partners with organisations that provide direct business development support to SMMEs.
The fund is supportive of growing and enhancing the sustainability of rural, urban, township-based, youth, people with disabilities and women-owned SMMEs. Creating an accessible business support ecosystem focused on growing SMMEs will contribute towards business resilience, competitiveness, job creation and economic growth.
