The Western Cape Prestige Agri Awards was born from collaboration with the private sector and the Hex Valley Table Grape Association.

The project aims to acknowledge the valuable and important contribution that agri workers make to the sustainability and growth of the agricultural sector in the Western Cape and globally.

During the COVID-19 lockdown, the project could not run, however the Departmental Team utilised the opportunity to recognise the hard work and dedication of the agri workers, contributing to a very productive agricultural sector even during the pandemic.
