Roland Kroukamp is a Family Physician for the greater Mitchells Plain. As the pandemic had devastating effects on routine service delivery, Roland had proven to be resilient, agile, and dependable.
As COVID testing services had to be taken off site, Roland was instrumental in ensuring that services were delivered in communities within the GSA. Roland ensured that doctors were trained in testing, as well as other categories.
He also ensured that clients requiring urgent medical attention were attended to through his team of Medical Officers and CNP's. Roland is proactive in re-organising care around the needs of the community and takes the lead in achieving service delivery goals.
