Overstrand Municipality

Overstrand Municipality has achieved eleven consecutive clean audit reports, showcasing its commitment to good governance and accountability. 

With a capital expenditure of R636 million over three years, the municipality aims to improve service delivery and stimulate economic growth. Service access in the area exceeds 90%, surpassing the Overberg District in 2023. 

The implementation of the eMIS system, since 2006, has enhanced basic service delivery, benefiting local communities and visitors. Over the past decade, Overstrand Municipality has consistently ranked among the top-performing municipalities in the country.
