Ms Annemarie Verwey

Annemarie Verwey, also fondly known as Suster Ann, runs a feeding scheme from her house in the rural town of Murraysburg near the border of the Eastern Cape.

The scheme runs purely on donations from churches, locals and people from outside of town.

Suster Ann has been involved in voluntary community activities in her hometown for more than 22 years and serves on numerous associations, councils and any other type of platform to ensure the plight of the impoverished rural town is heard.
