Born from a dire need for freely available, accessible and reliable climate data, the Western Cape Department of Agriculture’s GIS Innovation Team created several public-facing Web applications.
The web applications enable any user to access, view and interact with vast amounts of data relevant to:
- Agriculture;
- rural development;
- natural resources;
- conservation planning; and
- and activities across the breadth of the province.
The apps are easily accessible to our stakeholders and citizens at large, support informed decision-making and enhance service delivery across many disciplines.
