Estelle Cupido

Estelle Cupido has a service delivery record of 36 years. She was 18 years old when she began her employment at the Department of Health: Supply Chain/Finance Component. The years of experience, acquired departmental knowledge, insight and understanding of government prescripts have contributed to her level of confidence that has allowed her to provide a service of excellence.

She has a passion for her patients, and because of her experience and losses during the pandemic, she knew exactly what resources were required to sustain the vaccination site. She utilised her partnerships with external colleagues to deliver and thereby ensure sustainability. Importantly, she pursued this tenacity throughout the lifespan of the vaccination site and was a visible and constant employee to those who needed support and information on the site. The success of the site on the premises was primarily due to the strength, patient-focus, and meaningfulness of Ms Cupido.
