Deon Terry, based in Ocean View, a community plagued by gang violence, is dedicated to enhancing emergency services with limited resources.
He trained numerous Emergency First Aid Responders (EFARs) and established partnerships with volunteer ambulance services.
To improve response time, he collaborated with False Bay Hospital to set up a satellite ambulance station. Deon embodies professionalism, courtesy, and care, aligning with the Western Cape Government's values of Integrity, Accountability, Competence, Responsiveness, and Caring.
